Gerina-Piller

The date of her birth is March 29, 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Her birth name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is both Mexican and American. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong need to play athletics. Gerina first began playing golf at 15 years of age. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her studies in high school. In high school she won the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. Apart from the sport of volleyball, she played on an official level. The year 2003 was the year she began her studies at the University of Texas. She took home all the competitions she participated in during her senior year. While in her undergrad year, she received an individual award by the Conference USA for player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
