April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started piano and guitar lessons in seventh grade. This sparked the interest of her. April Lockhart composed her first single, Different at the age 12 years old. When she was 14, April devoted much of her time singing and writing songs. She started writing songs with her dad and her dad in NY and LA within a short time. April began including other topics in her book Take My Hand to help those of her peers who struggled with peer pressure, disabilities or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart is a popular figure and also works as a lifestyle blogger with the well-known Ilia Clean Beauty brand. It's true that she was born with no left hand, and it makes her unique. But this isn't the only thing about her. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap in her posts on Instagram, however she isn't making it the focal point of it. What's the message? It's important to keep in mind that everyone has numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we're much greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart speaks through video from Nashville. "I do not want it to define my existence. I'm not looking to only be known as a disability expert. My everyday life isn't affected by it. I lead a normal, everyday life and find my own solutions to problems. It's an integral part of my life, therefore it's important to talk about the subject. Lockhart encourages us to keep going with self-acceptance. Still, she admits that she went through phases in her life with her physique, feeling insecure at times to wear clothing that displayed the arms of her. Today, she wears anything she'd like. and she shares her photos on social media. Self-love, she says, is like a journey. "I believe that you'll ever get in that place," she said. But, this isn't common for anyone with doubts. I believe having friends with you who are aware of you and know the depths of your soul is vital since they'll be those who will remind you what you worrying about?
