Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in Australia, is an actress. Cornish was best-known for her role in movies like Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). The latter movie Cornish got her very first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother. Her love and the support from her parents made the choice to pursue acting an easy decision for a young Betty Gilpin. When it came time for her to attend college, she chose Fordham College where she learned to hone her craft. Following graduation, Gilpin began acting in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for television and film roles. After a brief guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent and a few other small roles on Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin kept securing TV guest spots over the next few years until she landed her first break in 2013 when she was offered her recurring part in the show Nurse Jackie. In the role of Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie closed its doors in June of 2015. Gilpin starred in True Story, a thriller featuring a mysterious element.
